Recognise and Nurture Talent

Though born in Germany, Albert Einstein as a young student moved to the Zurich polytechnic Institute in Switzerland to pursue his studies.

Entry into the polytechnic did not require a high school diploma, just a passing grade in it's tough entrance examination but he did exceptionally well in the Mathematics and Physics sections.

This so impressed the Principal that he promised to take in Einstein the following year without an entrance test.

This incident highlights the importance of having a flexible system of admission and the critical ability of a teacher to spot aptitude of a student in a particular subject and nurture the Talent.
